*There is a minimum of 20 paying participants for group field trips. For less than 20 participants, it is possible for us to combine you with a larger group. Please call for availability.

*Please note that any parents or siblings that attend field trip will be charge admission of $14. Parents/siblings must have a ticket before loading onto wagon. *NO EXCEPTIONS
You will begin your field trip at Strawberry Hill by loading onto our tractor-drawn wagon for a guided tour of the farm. Students will catch a glimpse of our corn, strawberry, peach, and pumpkin fields as they ride! They will also get a first hand view of our irrigation pond.
Students will learn about plant and animal science, including:
• Basic needs of a pumpkin plant
• Life cycle and structure of a pumpkin plant
• Weather effects, including seasonal changes on a farm
• Importance of pollination & use of honey bees
• Basic needs of farm animals
• Visit with our calves, pigs, chickens, goats, and big pig “Victoria"
• Relevance of irrigation system
Field Trip cost includes hayride, visit with farm animals, playground, pie-sized pumpkin to take home, and scoop on homemade vanilla or chocolate ice-cream
